Beautiful Swaps and ribbon flowers

I received this beautiful set of cards and bird house (Milk Carton project) from my friend Jenny from South Carolina. Her blog is: http://myimajennation.blogspot.com. This is the second month we swap projects. It is exciting for me  to see what other paper crafters are doing, to know other styles and techniques. I love what Jenn did, very creative. I also love her choice of colors and papers. Thank you Jenny!

Today I also received this beautiful mini book from my friend Cassia from Ft. Lauderdale. Her web site is:
www.scrapbookingbug.com. Our swap this month was a mini book and she sent me this gorgeous one. I loved all the layers, her choice of colors and papers. Cassia teaches mini books at a Stamp Store in SF. She is very talented. Thank you Cassia, love my book!

These are some RIBBON FLOWERS I sewed this afternoon. I can't wait to use them on my projects! They will look adorable with embellishments in the center. Have a restful, blessed and happy Friday!

  2. Ohh those flowers look so fun! I love the swap from Cassia. She does beautiful work.

LOL, I was in such a rush to send off your swap, I forgot to tell you a few things. First off, the roof of the birdhouse comes off easily (removable zots) to reveal the top of the milk carton, which if you open it, has Reeses "bird eggs" in it =) A treat for you =) Haha, also, the running joke about my Hispanic girlfriends....the paper is from the DCWV pack titled "Mi Casa"....hehehe, I do love the colors and glitter though. I keep thinking what a perfect pack it would be to use for a recipe book!
